- Epididymis is the temporary storage of the sperm and the muscles in it contract to ejaculate sperms.
- Sperm Duct transports sperms from the Epididymis to the Urethra.
- Glands produce seminal fluid, which is alkaline to neutralize the acidity in the female reproductive tract, activates sperms by causing them to move freely, and nourishes sperms with nutrients.
- Penis is to insert it into the vagina when erected.
Female
- Ovary produce female gametes ( ova ) and female sex hormones.
- Oviduct delivers mature ovum from the Ovary to the Uterus (Function), and has Cilia (lining along the Oviduct) to move ovum along the Oviduct, and has muscular strong contractions (adaptations).
- Uterus is muscular and elastic, to push foetus out during birth.
- Endometrium is soft and smooth, preparing for the implantation of fertilized egg.
